What is Photo Journalism?
This style of photography has been around for about ten years and is for people that want something different in their wedding photography. We will recommend different options that will include, but are not limited to Black and White Photography, seeing the wedding through the Creative focus eye that breaks many traditional rules. This helps us to avoid the posed and staged look of so many wedding albums. We may elect to use a fisheye lens which allows us to see 180 degrees or we may use some soft focus or very sharp focus techniques and even blurred photos which will seem to suggest movement in your photos. Different artistic effects such as those you've seen in popular magazines combined with grainy photographs or we may capture odd moments that will be presented in a very artistic way. Often some sharp detail shots will be created which will lend a unique character to your wedding. Themes often become apparent to us as the wedding takes place in a particular venue. This artistic form of photo journalism for weddings comes from our over 20 years of photography expertise and requires imagination from the one doing the video or photography. For this type of an approach the bride and groom must trust the photographer and they will be delighted to have a very unique wedding photo album.
